Ray is a graduate of Queen’s University’s Bachelor of Commerce (Hons) program, and a graduate of Wilfred Laurier’s Masters of Business Administration program. During his 44 years working in the financial services industry, Ray has earned the Fellow, Life Management Institute FLMI designation, and the Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) designation.
Family is very important to Ray and he can usually be found spending time with his wife, their 3 children and their 3 grandchildren. He is also an avid sports enthusiast, both as a participant and spectator. Having played varsity basketball for Queen’s University, he is particularly fond of basketball and is a loyal Toronto Raptor’s fan.
Leah is a graduate of McMaster University’s Bachelor of Arts Economic program. She has earned the Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) designation and has 17 years of industry experience. She served 6 years in our compliance department as Branch Manager and has been operating as Managing Partner since 2014.
Leah has a deep love of the outdoors, spending all seasons outside with her husband and two sons; rock climbing, skiing, and simply enjoying nature. She also thoroughly enjoys cooking and exploring new culinary styles with family and friends.
Lauren is a graduate of McMaster University’s Bachelor of Arts Sociology (Hons) program and a graduate of Mohawk College’s Human Resources Management Certificate program. With over 15 years of customer service and team leadership experience and 10 years of human resources and operations experience, it is Lauren’s belief that building a successful team comes from fostering individuality, pushing for continuous growth and celebrating achievements.
Lauren can usually be found spending time outdoors with her partner and son; running, hiking, biking, playing at the park and just enjoying all that nature has to offer. Lauren also loves reading, cooking and spending time with family and friends.
Monika has been working with Oakstone since early 2023. She has an extensive history in supporting advisor teams and has been serving IPC advisors for over 20 years. Monika represents Oakstone and collaborates with other support personnel on the OAC administrative advisory board. Monika’s attention to detail, warm nature and care are evident in the services she provides to our clients.
Monika thoroughly enjoys gardening, traveling, and spending time with her husband.
Amanda is new to the Oakstone Team, joining us in January of 2024. She comes to us with a long history of customer service in the financial services industry. Amanda has supported advisor teams, major bank customer services and most recently in an independent insurance brokerage. She is dedicated to supporting our clients and is focused on developing trusted relationships.
Amanda thoroughly enjoys spending quality time with her daughter.
Kathy has been working with our clients for 18 years in our GIC Services division. She provides excellent customer service and focuses on building long-term relationships with clients.
Kathy loves traveling to Northern Ontario to enjoy cottage life in the summer and ice fishing in the winter. She is an award winning tomato gardener who enjoys spending time with her husband and their families.
Joining our team in 2014, Grace brings a wealth of financial services experience into her role on our GIC Services team. In her 37 years of experience, Grace has held positions at Edward Jones, Mortgage Financial and Bell Canada serving in various administrative functions. She has successfully achieved the Registered Deposit Agent designation through the Registered Deposit Brokers Association and thoroughly enjoys with our clients.
Grace enjoys traveling and spending time with her son, family and friends. She is also an avid Toronto Blue Jays fan. Go Jays Go!
